Earthquake Report

A quick note to advise that we located well out of the quake zone and have suffered no damage or disruption to our lodge & hunting operation.  Christchurch & the airport are fully functional.  Further north in the Kaikoura region, the main coastal highway & railroad has suffered a huge amount of damage.

Our thoughts go out to those affected in the Kaikoura region, where some of New Zealand's well known outfitters are based.

2016 Hunt Reference

"Our hunting guides, Kirk, a life-long New Zealander and Trevor, a native Michigander, had years of guiding experiences from the Yukon to Mexico and everywhere in between.  Unlike many guides who I have had over the years, these two men were totally wired and focused to make sure that I had the most positive and successful hunt of my life.  It was obvious from our first handshake, that they were unflinchingly determined to make this happen"
